Animal Furstival Asia 2014: Mall March Menagerie

The AFA2013’s big event is back this year with a bigger bang. Animals parading through one of the city’s largest malls, with guests from Japan, Thailand and Malaysia!

To differentiate our AFA … from the official AFA, the event has been called, “Animal Furstival Asia”. A brief history: AFA was established around the official AFA event, in the spirit of furthering cultural exchange amongst the international furry fandom.

Despite being a one-day event on 7 December, the actual schedule as drawn up by the Ops team spanned over five days , making provisions for the foreign furs to have ample time to explore Singapore before the AFA day itself.

Before the Mall Mach Menagerie, there were two dinner gatherings, the first being on Friday at Lau Pa Sat – followed by a visit to Marina Bay for the Garden Rhapsody and then Marina Bay Sands for the Wonder Full light show. Saturday’s dinner meet was held at Suntec City’s Kopitiam.
